Acknowledgements

Construction

The construction images were taken at Trinity Green campus which is part of Bradford College. Two of the four students (Martin and Kim) in the images are currently on a construction course at the college.

DJ, Sound and Creative

Lee-Jay, Josh, Lewis and Tyler took part in the photoshoot at Waxworks - Music Studio for urban youth music.

Engineering

Michelle, Nasreen and Parveen were studying on the Let’s TWIST course (Train Women in Science, engineering, construction and Technology), with a view to continuing to study if they wish (Michelle to Car Maintenance, Nasreen to Construction Management, Parveen possibly to carpentry or plumbing).

Jenny has now finished her BTEC National in Electrical and Electronic Engineering and is going on to study Electrical Engineering at University.

Film and Media

Rafi, Aimi, Roxanne, Donica, Ben and David are, second-year students on a Performing Arts (Performance) BTEC National Diploma Level 3 and Jess and Alistair are design students at Bradford College.

Cheryl is studying a BA Media Studies with Television and Andrew is studying a BSc Media Technology and Production and they were both involved in the Motion Capture photoshoot. Andrew wore a specially designed suit for capturing movement. The suit has sensors on it and the cameras around the room pick up detailed movements he makes and captures them on the computer. Technology like this is used to create character movements such as Gollum from Lord of the Rings.

Science

Adam has just finished his Degree in Forensic Science and is going to do a Masters, he also teaches at the City of Bradford University. Helen is currently studying at Harrogate Grammar School and was on work experience at the University. She is hoping to continue her studies at sixth form and then University.
