
We all have to make choices. The decisions we make effect our future. If you are aged 13 – 19 you be faced with lots of decisions about your future that you may not have thought about much before.
One shoe does not fit all people and there are lots of different options around depending on what you want to do. The key is to think about what you are good at and enjoy and work hard at it. No matter what path you take, education, training, or employment, you will need the basic skills to develop within your chosen area. Functional skills such as Maths and English are essential for all types of education, training, and employment.
Think of it like this, if you were a car you could be a beautiful colour, great bodywork, leather seats, shiny alloys, but if there is no engine, the car is missing something. It’s about the whole package.
