Rahul keeps pushing forward but he needs your votes!

Rahul Sabbarwal is aiming high but funding is tight so he has entered the Barclays One Small Step Competition with the chance to win a share of £50,000.

Rahul was featured in the T&A in early March as a recent winner of Bradford's Enterprise Business Competition, run by Bradford College. Since then he has been very busy and recently hosted a showcase of local kids at Bradford Playhouse. Keeping them off the streets and getting them to be part of something positive in Bradford. The event was a great success with over 200 people attending! Rahul is also an ambassador for the Councils b someone campaign, showing young people that they can achieve their goals with hard work and determination.

Rahul has been on a mission trying to get some funding to run music workshops with children and young people in Bradford and the district to help tackle crime, drugs, and alcohol abuse helping not only within his community but throughout the district. He also hopes to raise the profile of music production in the North putting Bradford on the music map. Unfortunately, he has been unable to get the funding he needs to carry out his dreams.

The Barclays One Small Step Competition aims to find people with ambition, passion and most importantly, a great business idea. There is a blank canvas where you can create your personal inspirational idea. Barclays state ‘it could be a lifelong ambition or a recent brainwave. It could be a personal experience or a distant dream. Even a revolutionary concept that changes the world. It’s an open invitation and anyone with a great business idea and the drive to make it happen could win.’ The prize not only includes the free support Barclays offer all companies, but they are going to give a £50,000 boost to ten brilliant business ideas out there.
