Get involved in i11 and do something really positive in your community or school

There are prizes of up to £1000 up for grabs - so get together with a few friends and think of an idea for a project which will tackle a concern or problem in your local community and improve where you live.

Local residents in your community have already identified some areas of concern to your neighbourhood policing teams and these can be found on your NPT website -www.westyorkshire.police.uk/npt - and these might include:

  • Anti social behaviour
  • Underage drinking
  • Bullying
  • Understanding different cultures
  • Theft / burglary
  • Creating Safer Environments
  • Vehicle crime
  • Reducing the fear of crime

However, you might come up with a completely new idea, such as something you want to tackle in school.

You can apply for up to £250 to help you start your project, and when you've finished, projects are judged and the best 3 projects can win up to £1000!
