Bradford Youth Development Partnership have organised The Bradford Mile to be held at Lister Park, Sunday, 21st March 9:00 am – 1:00 pm.
The Bradford Mile event is part of the national Sport Relief (Comic Relief) campaign, which is happening all over the UK on the weekend of 19th - 21st March 2010.
Around 500 - 750 people are expected to take part in the one, two or six laps of Lister Park. There will also be a host of entertainment (weather permitting) to entertain everyone, whether taking part or helping support a worthwhile cause.
To register and get involved all you need to do is choose a distance one, two or six lap and simply visit www.sportrelief.com/themile and select The Bradford Mile.
When you enter, you’ll need to pay small entry fee. It’s just £5 for adults, £2 for children and under 16, and £12 for a family (2 adults and 2 children). Your entry fees only cover the cost of staging the Mile events, it’s really important you get sponsored. It’s your sponsorship money that will help to change lives forever.
To register on the day, come along on Sunday 21st March 2010, Lister Park, 9:00 am (places will be limited so it’s recommended that all interested participants register via the website to avoid disappointment!).
