The B-talented programme is a full time volunteering programme for young people aged 16 – 25 from the Bradford District. It will be delivered by Bradford Youth Service, the same team behind vtalentyear.
Young people need to be fully committed to volunteering, able to give 30 hours a week for 40 weeks and undertake a qualification at or above NVQ level 2. The scheme requires a diverse range of young people, they may be lone parents, out of work, a university graduate, looking for a career in youth/nursery/play or social work, and wanting to help other young people.
Young people will be able to gain substantial experience by volunteering within the children and young people’s workforce.
