Nominations open now for Young Citizen Awards 2011

Nomination forms are now available for the Young Citizen Awards 2011. People are urged to nominate children and young people from across the district.

The nominee’s should have been involved in or developed a programme or piece of work that deals with one of the Every Child Matters (ECM) outcomes, which are:

• Be Healthy
• Stay Safe
• Enjoy & Achieve
• Make a Positive Contribution
• Achieve Economic Well Being(increase employability, access to school or further education or encourage greater entrepreneurship)

Each theme will have two awards given to those under 11 and those aged 11 – 25.

The awards will be on the 9th March at St Georges Hall from 7:30pm - 9:30pm
