| Back again for its 6th year! The Annual Young Citizen Awards will celebrate children and young people’s achievements from across the district. The awards recognise children and young people’s contribution to the community and the outstanding work they do. | |
The awards are delivered by a multi-agency partnership involving bsomeone, Bradford Council’s Children’s Services, Bradford’s Children’s Trust, Young Lives Bradford and the Telegraph and Argus. This year the awards have been made possible by sponsorship from bsomeone, Bradford College, Incommunities, Yorkshire Building Society, Kirkgate Centre and St Bede's School.
Now is the time to nominate a special child, young person or group who you feel needs recognition for the outstanding work they have done.
Award categories
The categories cover a wide range of areas and are all relevant to today’s young people and the project and work they participate in at school, college, university and in community groups and settings. The nominees should have been involved in or developed a programme or piece of work that covers one of the award categories. There are six categories and two age groups, under 11’s and 11 – 25.
